We Know Insurance

Tallman Insurance Agency was established by U.S. Navy officer-Lieutenant Commander Francis J. Tallman in 1949. Frank was married to Jane Marie O’Gara and they raised four beautiful daughters (Janey, Kala, Clare and Meghan). Frank was a prominent figure in business and politics in Kansas City. In addition, Frank and Jane were proud to be the original importers of the Hungarian Vizsla.

Lawrence Lyons (President)  has been with the firm for over 45 years. Larry is known in the Kansas City community as the “go to person” when you need a problem solved. Larry married Janey Tallman and they raised two children (Lauren & Patrick). Larry is heavily involved in community service. He takes pride in helping children as a Shriner. Connie has been with the company 40+ years. Her specialty is Commercial Lines but is also well versed in Personal Lines. She is instrumental in the smooth daily operations of the organization. Ray has been with the firm for 1 year. He comes to Tallman after 20 honorable years in the U. S. Air Force. He is licensed in Property & Casualty and Life & Heath.
